About Ayanda Blose

Ayanda Blose is a Professional Construction Health and Safety Agent (Pr. CHSA) who is professionally registered with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). He has over 16 years’ experience within the construction and facilities occupational health and safety industry. As a Pr. CHSA, Ayanda Blose has considerable experience in various Health and Safety monitoring projects in different provinces of South Africa. His skills include paying attention to detail while managing health and safety on behalf of Clients, site-specific health and safety specification and baseline risk assessment compilation, permit to do construction work application, design reviews, has vast knowledge of Construction Health and Safety Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety legislation and excellent interpersonal skills. These Clients include the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA), Eskom Power Station projects (Ingula Pump Storage Scheme and Kusile), Coega Development Corporation (Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone), Development Bank of South Africa (Construction of Telkom Towers Building), South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Department of Public Works (DWP), South African National Botanical Institute (SANBI), Public Investment Corporation (PIC), Armscor, the City of Tshwane (CoT), Department of Human Settlements, Department of Health, Gauteng Department Infrastructure Development (GDID), etc.

Ayanda was the Lead Auditor for Health & Safety audit for the Advance Infrastructure of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project Phase 2. Ayanda has been part of the health and safety team for both Eskom Kusile Power Station and Eskom Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme. He has over 16 years’ experience in both Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management.

He holds a BSc Hons (Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences) first class pass from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS University) and has a Higher National Diploma in Safety Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
